SMITH BACK AT PLAZA?

Reports of Joseph C. Smith and his orchestra coming back to the Plaza hotel, New York, have been met with much interesting comment by the music men. Smith was a favorite with the younger set at the Plaza, for tea dances particularly, and the hotel grille hasn't been as popular since his absence.

Smith has been playing at the Mount Royal hotel, Montreal, for some time. He is also recording for the Canada Victor Talking Machine Co.
